NEPSE: The stock market increased, with a turnover reaching Rs 4.14 billion

Kathmandu, April 9 On Tuesday, the stock market increased by 9.19 points. After the increase of that number, NEPSE has remained at 2036 points. A total of Rs 4.14 billion was traded. Earlier on Sunday, there was a turnover of Rs 4.25 billion. A total of 137 companies increased in value, 101 decreased while seven remained stable. Finance and other groups increased by more than two per cent each. Manufacturing and microfinance groups fell by more than one per cent. Kathmandu, April 9 Fourteen members of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) were injured in the clash with the police during the demonstration of the RPP and two people were arrested by the police. One Nepali national drowns, another missing in sea in Portugal

The incident took place at Montijo, close to Lisbon, on the night of April 6. The deceased is a 30-year-old Dhana Bahadur Tamang of Katunje, Netrawati Dabajong Rural Municipality-5, Dhading district of Nepal. The missing one is Tek Bahadur Tamang, 38, from the same place. Three ministers of Koshi Province resigned

Biratnagar, April 9 Three ministers of the Koshi Province Government resigned en masse on Monday. National sports policies limited to paper: 21 sports associations operating against the policy

There are 61 sports associations registered in the National Sports Council. Among them, 21 have not held a general meeting even after the term of the working committee has ended. Army plans to collect 10 tonnes of trash from the Everest region

Kathmandu, April 8 The Nepali Army will collect waste from Mt Everest, Mt Lhotse and Mt Nuptse under the Clean Himalaya Campaign-2024 this year.
